Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience leading and developing data science teams.
• Delivery of production-grade data-driven solutions to complex problems.
• Strong expertise in consumer financial services risk decisioning (credit/fraud).
• Deep knowledge of statistical modeling and data mining on structured/unstructured data.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL with large-scale data.
• Ability to frame ambiguous problems, define clear success metrics, and prioritize.
• Excellent stakeholder management and crisp storytelling for senior leaders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing data science team.
• Set and execute a multi-year roadmap for evergreen data assets and scalable analytics products.
• Expand coverage of key customer data assets to support risk decisions.
• Advance data mining and modeling across structured/unstructured data.
• Reimagine end-to-end transaction categorization for risk use cases.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize opportunities and define success metrics.
• Deliver executive-ready narratives with insights, tradeoffs, and impact.
