Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Vice President Data Scientist for Credit Risk, Risk Insights – Chase 360. You will shape risk insights at scale, turn payment and customer data into actionable analytics, and influence lending strategies across consumer and small business banking.

You will partner with Risk leaders and cross-functional teams, translating business questions into analytical solutions and leveraging GenAI to modernize analytics lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in statistics, econometrics, or a related quantitative field with 5+ years of risk management or quantitative experience; or a BS with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Deep expertise of the Consumer Financial Services industry.
• Strong strategic and commercial mindset with ability to define success metrics and prioritize high-ROI work.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data analysis, modeling, data engineering, and project management to drive advanced analytics projects.
• Perform credit-focused analytics to identify, quantify, and monitor risks in consumers and small businesses.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for strategic decisions.
• Conduct independent research on emerging risks relevant to consumers and small businesses.
• Deliver executive-ready narratives with recommendations and tradeoffs to senior leaders.
• Drive execution in a fast-paced environment and align stakeholders to roadmaps.
• Embrace GenAI-enabled innovations across the data science lifecycle.
• Stay updated on industry trends and macroeconomic developments.
