Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Vice President, Revenue Cycle Management in Parsippany, NJ to lead the A/R team handling insurance balances, denied claims appeals, and overall accounts receivable resolution for clients. The leader will drive client relationships and optimize revenue cycle operations.

The role requires deep domain knowledge, strategic oversight, and the ability to implement efficient processes across payer environments while ensuring HIPAA compliance and data security.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA desirable.
• 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in acute care setting or comparable Revenue Cycle company.
• Analytical and problem solving skills; understand reimbursement structures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the A/R team responsible for collecting outstanding insurance balances and appealing denied claims.
• Resolve A/R for clients and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide assistance/resolution to external and internal client inquiries.
• Prepare reports or logs as required.
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare regulations; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Identify trends in payments/denials and advise corrective actions.
• Support Business Development during the sales process.
