Job summary

Med-Metrix, LLC is seeking a Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management to lead the accounts receivable team in optimizing insurance collections, denials appeal processes, and client relationships. The role requires deep knowledge of healthcare billing, regulatory requirements, and proactive problem solving.

The candidate will drive performance metrics, ensure HIPAA compliance, and partner with Business Development to support client growth.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA/CPA desirable
• 10+ years in progressive financial leadership roles, preferably in acute care or Revenue Cycle
• Analytical and problem solving; understand complex reimbursement structures
• Knowledge of governmental, legal, regulatory provisions related to collection activity
• Knowledge of insurance company practices regarding reimbursement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem solving and judgment with timely analyses
• High integrity, dependability and urgency to deliver results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee AR management, insurance balances, and denied-claim appeals
• Provide client-focused relationship management and insights
• Prepare and review reports for clients
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare regulations and HIPAA requirements
• Identify trends in payments and denials and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
• Support business development during sales process
• Protect PHI and adhere to HIPAA and information security policies
• Collaborate with teams to set priorities aligned with organizational objectives
• Other duties as assigned
