Job summary

South Texas Radiology Group in San Antonio seeks a Vice President of Revenue Cycle to lead and optimize the organization’s revenue cycle operations. The role covers professional hospital billing and imaging center global billing, with ownership of end-to-end processes and automation initiatives.

The VP will implement strategy, drive KPI performance, and collaborate with imaging centers, hospital partners, payers, and the vendor ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
• Six+ years of senior-level revenue cycle management experience.
• Radiology billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement technology solutions for automation and AI-assisted coding and claims tools.
• Develops and executes STRG's overall revenue cycle strategy to align with financial objectives.
• Manages day-to-day revenue cycle operations across billing, coding, claims, denials, and collections.
• Collaborates with affiliated imaging centers, hospital partners, payers, and system vendor.
• Maximizes revenue by optimizing collections and reducing inefficiencies and gaps.
• Tracks and reports monthly revenue KPIs by entity.
• Ensures adherence to state, federal, payer regulations and company policies.
• Stays informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting billing.
• Analyzes payer reimbursement and denial patterns for revenue enhancement.
• Partners with data and engineering teams to enable billing analytics.
• Partners with the Controller on cash posting and month-end close.
• Oversees coding and billing compliance for diagnostic and interventional radiology.
• Ensure payer contracts comply with policies and NCCI guidelines.
• Expert knowledge of radiology coding guidelines across modalities.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Supervisory: Director of Revenue Cycle and revenue cycle staff.
