Job summary

Atlanta Housing seeks a Vice President, Resident Empowerment to lead execution, strategy implementation, and performance management for service areas within the division. The role oversees program administration, compliance, fiscal stewardship, and outcomes that advance resident stability and mobility.

The VP will supervise service area leaders, build capacity, and ensure alignment with the Senior VP’s strategic direction while driving cross-functional coordination and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Strong leadership and performance management experience.
• Experience managing budgets and resources.
• Knowledge of HUD programs and regulatory compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of resident empowerment programs advancing mobility and quality of life.
• Oversee design, implementation, and improvement of programs for families, youth, and seniors.
• Drive strategies to transition residents from public assistance to economic independence.
• Ensure program alignment with divisional priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Establish and monitor program performance metrics and KPIs.
• Hold leaders accountable for results and timelines.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and development to service area leaders.
