Job summary

IM8, a next-generation health brand, is hiring a VP, Research & Product Development to lead formulation, ingredient strategy, quality and manufacturing partnerships for powders, gummies, liquids and new formats. You will own the roadmap, turn consumer insight and science into market-ready products, and drive launches with clear consumer needs and solid business cases.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in nutritional supplements or related field.
• 5+ years leading formulation and quality teams.
• Track record launching products across powders, gummies and liquids.
• Deep ingredient knowledge across vitamins, minerals, botanicals, probiotics and prebiotics.
• Experience with US contract manufacturers: technology transfer, scale-up, audits.
• Strong command of dietary supplement regulations and labeling.
• Experience with scientific advisors or clinical researchers.
• Commercial instinct focusing on COGS, margin and price.
• Familiarity with AI tools in product development.
• MS or PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own R&D roadmap end to end, from concept to launch.
• Identify trends and build prioritised pipeline with business cases.
• Lead new delivery formats beyond powder, gummy and liquid.
• Partner with Marketing, Growth and Finance on launches.
• Own P&L impact of product decisions and margins.
• Prototype, test with consumers and stop projects with evidence.
• Drive scale via pilot runs and manufacturing partnerships.
• Lead quality and regulatory programs.
• Manage supplier network and tech transfer with manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate with Scientific Advisory Board and translate evidence into claims.
• Build and lead a high-performing R&D and quality team.
• Manage development budgets and launch milestones.
• Align product development with IM8 growth strategy.
