Job summary

Brookfield Real Estate Group in New York is seeking a Vice President, Investments to lead sourcing, underwriting, and executing recapitalization transactions across the U.S. real estate market.

You will manage deal teams and serve as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This role requires a strong track record in real estate transaction execution, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to drive value from complex investments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in real estate transactions.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation across asset classes.
• Proven ability to source, structure, negotiate and close complex deals.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Source US investment opportunities by cultivating relationships with LPs, GPs, intermediaries, brokers, and advisors
• Manage full deal lifecycle from screening to closing, including due diligence and legal coordination
• Lead and mentor junior deal team members and ensure quality control
• Coordinate with internal teams: legal, tax, asset management, capital markets, investor relations
• Prepare investment committee materials and present to senior leadership
• Provide ongoing asset management support post-closing
