Brookfield Asset Management Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Vice President to join the Real Estate Secondaries Portfolio Management team in New York.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Real Estate, or related field.
• 8+ years in real estate investments, investment management, portfolio management, private equity, or related investing roles; exposure to secondaries preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, IRR, MoC, discounted cash flow, and sensitivity analysis.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Argus, Power BI, Anaplan, or similar reporting tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed and collaborative, with leadership capabilities, strong judgment, and the maturity to work with limited supervision.
• Unquestionable ethics and integrity, with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.

Responsabilidades

• Support underwriting for investments and portfolio actions, including expected return analysis, performance attribution, and sensitivity work.
• Responsible for managing relationships with third-party GPs, operators, consultants, and service providers to facilitate business plan execution.
• Drive asset management oversight by monitoring investment performance, updating business plans, and identifying opportunities to enhance value across the portfolio.
• Responsible for dispositions, coordinating with legal, GPs and internal sector teams to determine timing and execution for the greatest
• Assist with hold/sell decisions, recapitalization analysis, dispositions, refinancing, and other capital events, including related IC materials and execution support.
• Prepare quarterly reporting, investor-facing analyses, and ad hoc materials for senior stakeholders, Investor Relations, and external partners.
• Work closely with Brookfield’s real estate platform, capital markets, finance, tax, legal, and other internal teams to ensure investment oversight across the portfolio lifecycle.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable reporting tools, automation, and process improvements across valuation and portfolio management workflows.
