Job summary

MetroPlusHealth seeks a VP of Provider Contracting and Value-Based Partnerships to lead contracting across Hospitals, IPAs, and large providers in New York. You will shape network strategy, oversee credentialing and data management, and partner with Legal and Finance on reimbursement structures and cost containment.

The role requires extensive senior leadership experience in managed care contracting, strong negotiation skills, and a strategic focus on value-based care within the NY market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field.
• 7–10 years senior management experience in Contracting, including 5 years in NY.
• Proven ability to achieve organization goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with Hospitals, IPAs, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, SUD sites, Behavioral Health Providers, Urgent Care facilities and Physician Groups.
• Help develop short- and long-term network and contracting strategies.
• Oversee end-to-end contracting processes and provider relations.
• Develop value-based payment strategies with key provider partners.
• Supervise and budget the department.
