Job summary

Scion Executive Search has been engaged to lead an executive search for a Vice President of Property Management in Greater Cincinnati, OH. The role oversees a large multifamily and commercial portfolio, managing operations, budgets, and site teams for financial and physical performance.

The candidate will lead managers, leasing, maintenance, and compliance staff, and partner with accounting to produce regular reports. A strong leadership and cost-control background is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of property management experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building and leading teams.
• Multi-site portfolio experience preferred.
• Commitment to excellent resident service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi preferred).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across the portfolio.
• Manage property budgets and control costs.
• Lead and develop site teams, including managers, leasing, maintenance, and compliance staff.
• Prepare regular financial and operational reports with the accounting team.
• Improve operating procedures and systems as needed.
• Set team goals and track performance.
• Handle performance reviews and staffing decisions.
• Support leadership on future growth and development.
