Job summary

Walker & Dunlop is seeking a Vice President, Project Manager in a hybrid role. The VP leads a pod within the Acquisitions team, overseeing LIHTC transactions from underwriting to closing and coordinating cross-functional teams.

You will guide developers and investors, manage risks, and drive process improvements to ensure high-quality transaction execution and professional development within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in real estate finance, development, or affordable housing transactions.
• Extensive underwriting, structuring, and overseeing complex real estate transactions, preferably LIHTC investments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a pod of project management professionals, providing direction, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee acquisition of limited partnership interests in affordable housing developments, aligning with investment objectives and processes.
• Coordinate with underwriting, construction, modeling, legal, and asset management teams to facilitate closings.
• Identify and mitigate transaction risks while ensuring delivery quality and compliance.
