Job summary

Vestmark, Inc. is seeking a VP of Product Management to own the strategy and roadmap for the Vestmark VAST platform, including UMA, SMA, and multi-sleeve portfolio construction.

You will translate complex investment operations into scalable product requirements and lead cross-functional teams to deliver commercially viable solutions for sponsors and asset managers. You will partner with engineering and client delivery to ensure solutions meet client needs while aligning with Vestmark Advisory

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, or investment technology within wealth or asset management.
• Deep understanding of managed account concepts: sleeves, overlay management, trading discretion, rebalancing engines, tax overlay, and attribution.
• Ability to translate complex investment operations concepts into product requirements and user experiences for internal PMs and external sponsor clients.
• Experience delivering platform capabilities to wealth management or broker-dealer/RIA/TAMP audiences, including multi-manager distribution.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for UMA, SMA, and multi-sleeve portfolio construction, overlay trading, and rebalancing across the VAST platform.
• Translate operational realities into clear, prioritized product requirements for engineering and design.
• Act as the internal subject-matter authority on UMA structures and how they intersect with household-level asset location rebalancing.
• Partner with engineering and design to architect scalable solutions for large wirehouse/broker-dealer programs and asset manager workflows.
• Gather requirements from Portfolio Managers and asset managers to validate solutions before and after delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with Vestmark Advisory Solutions to reflect portfolio management needs in the roadmap.
• Define and prioritize the backlog, balancing strategic investments with client-specific/regulatory commitments.
• Represent Vestmark’s capabilities in client conversations, RFPs, and executive reviews.
• Collaborate with Sales, Relationship Management, and Client Delivery to drive adoption and scaling.
