An innovative deep tech company developing next generation computing technology for AI and high performance computing is looking for a Vice President of Product to lead its transition from advanced technology development into scalable commercial products.
The company has developed a differentiated photonic computing platform designed to address some of the biggest challenges facing AI infrastructure, including data movement, bandwidth, power consumption and system scalability.
This is a highly influential role with ownership of the product strategy across photonic computing, AI infrastructure, high-speed networking/I/O and supporting software capabilities.
As VP Product, you will define what the company's technology becomes commercially.
Working directly with executive leadership and alongside Engineering, Architecture, Algorithms and Commercial teams, you will:
You’ll ideally have 10+ years in product management/product leadership across areas such as:
You should have a strong understanding of how modern AI infrastructure fits together, including technologies such as PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, InfiniBand, optical networking and semiconductor architectures.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who has taken genuinely complex technology and answered the difficult commercial questions:
What should we build? Who needs it? Where do we differentiate? And how do we turn the technology into a scalable business?
Experience working directly with hyperscalers, strategic technology partners or major data-center customers would be particularly valuable.
This isn't a role inheriting a mature product portfolio.
The underlying technology and IP have been developed and validated, but there is significant white space around the broader product strategy and commercialization roadmap.
The successful person will have substantial influence over where the company competes, which customers and applications it prioritizes, how its technology integrates into future AI infrastructure, and ultimately what the company becomes commercially.
