Job summary

IC Resources is seeking an AI Systems Architect to define how photonics and optical interconnects integrate with next-generation AI systems in a high-performance computing context.

You will work across AI architecture, networking, photonics, hardware, software, product, and commercial teams to translate customer workloads into scalable system architectures and identify new applications for optical technologies in AI and data-center environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in AI systems, computer architecture, networking, or HPC.
• Understanding of GPUs and AI accelerators.
• Experience with optical networking, photonics, or high-speed interconnects.
• Strong customer-facing and technical communication skills.
• US Citizenship or Green Card Status.

Responsibilities

• Design AI and HPC architectures incorporating photonics and optical interconnects.
• Analyze AI workloads, networking, memory, bandwidth, latency, and power requirements.
• Develop system and reference architectures for scalable AI infrastructure.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and commercial teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead customer architecture discussions, technical evaluations, and proof of concepts.
• Identify new applications for photonics within AI and data center infrastructure.
• Influence product roadmap and system requirements.
• Represent the company with customers, partners, and industry leaders.

The Role:
