For our client, we are seeking a VP, Procurement to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This leader will own procurement strategy and execution across a global spend base, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to align sourcing priorities with broader business objectives. The role will bring a data-driven, commercially minded approach to supplier partnerships, cost optimization, and spend management in a software-driven environment. The ideal candidate will lead a high-performing team, strengthen procurement discipline, and improve operational effectiveness through better tools, processes, and metrics.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $230,000 – $290,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships with leaders across the organization to align procurement strategy with business priorities.
• Leverage data-driven insights to influence decision-making in spend management and supplier partnerships.
• Define long-term category strategies to drive value creation and cost savings.
• Evaluate and optimize procurement tools and processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Track operational metrics to enhance procurement efficiency and supplier management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field; master's degree or MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in a corporate environment, ideally in tech/software (SaaS).
• 8+ years of experience leading a team.
• Experience managing up to $250M in company spend globally.
• Strong data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and financial acumen.
