Motive is seeking a Vice President, Procure-to-Pay to lead global procurement, strategic sourcing, and purchasing operations. Reporting to the executive team, you will define the P2P vision, governance, and cross-functional strategy to drive savings and scalable growth.
The ideal candidate has 15+ years of progressive executive experience in high-growth tech or SaaS, with deep vendor negotiations, software and IT spend mastery, and ERP/controls leadership.

Motive is looking for a Vice President, Procure-to-Pay (“P2P”) to lead, scale, and transform our global end-to-end procurement, strategic sourcing, and purchasing operations. Reporting as an executive leader, this role owns the overarching vision, organizational architecture, and cross-functional strategies that ensure Motive maximizes commercial leverage, scales efficiently, and maintains robust operational controls across all business units.
This executive role requires a transformational leader and seasoned operator who pairs strategic sourcing expertise with executive presence. The ideal candidate will architect enterprise vendor relationships, modernize global workflows through world class systems and processes, align executive stakeholders, and drive substantial bottom-line savings while enabling business velocity.
You’ll have the opportunity to architect and lead how procurement operates at scale inside a fast-growing tech leader. This role provides executive visibility, top-tier leadership alignment, and the mandate to build the systems, strategies, and vendor partnerships that directly shape Motive’s global financial performance.
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. Motive uses three geographic zones to determine pay range. For this role, the compensation ranges are:
$275,000 - $321,000 USD
U.S. metropolitan areas: Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City Area, Seattle, Washington D.C.
