Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Vice President, Fund Manager for Private Equity & Credit Funds in New York. You will oversee NAV production, client service, and operations while leading accounting professionals and partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve complex fund matters.

The ideal candidate has 8–12+ years in alternative investment accounting, strong private equity/credit fund experience, and proven people leadership. Strong Excel and financial analysis skills are required.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of alternative investment accounting experience.
• Significant private equity and private credit fund experience.
• Prior people management experience.
• Proven client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Experience with NAV cycles, audits, and complex fund structures.

Responsibilities

• Manage fund accounting teams delivering NAVs, reporting packages, and related deliverables.
• Review complex accounting transactions, waterfalls, allocations, and fee calculations.
• Escalate accounting and operational issues as primary point of contact.
• Maintain relationships with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead onboarding, launches, restructurings, and platform conversions.
