Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking an experienced VP to lead operations for a Private Debt Funds team in NYC. The role oversees execution, reporting, and servicing for private debt funds and credit facilities, including ABL financing.

You will partner with deal teams to review documentation, manage cash and securities movements, and ensure accurate trustee and servicer reporting. The position demands hands-on leadership across the full transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in private debt funds or structured credit with full lifecycle ownership.
• Familiarity with Indenture mechanics and collateral testing processes.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with deal teams, trustees, servicers and fund administrators.

Responsibilities

• Structuring support — review transaction docs to ensure alignment with modeled structures.
• Transaction execution — manage cash/securities movements and funds flow.
• OC/IC & collateral quality testing — build and maintain proprietary models per Indenture requirements.
• Trustee reporting — review and reconcile monthly/quarterly payment reports.
• Borrowing base & leverage facility oversight — covenant monitoring, fundings, paydowns.
• Waterfall calculations & servicer report review.
• Process ownership — from entity setup through amendment, restructuring, and wind-down
