Job summary

Arena Investors, LP, in partnership with Quaestor Advisors, is expanding its Portfolio & Asset Management team with a Vice President focused on private credit and asset-based lending. The role oversees valuation, monitoring, and strategic reporting across a diversified portfolio.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in private credit or related fields, strong negotiating and financial modeling skills, and the ability to mentor Associates and Analysts in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in private credit, direct lending, asset-based lending, portfolio management, or restructuring.
• Strong fundamental credit knowledge with loan documentation experience and negotiation skills.
• MBA or CFA credentials are a plus; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a segment of the private credit and asset-based portfolio, including valuation and reporting.
• Lead structuring, amendments, and negotiations for add-on financings.
• Oversee workout and restructuring situations, directing counsel through foreclosures and bankruptcies.
