Job summary

Vantage Data Centers seeks a strategic VP, Preconstruction to lead the preconstruction lifecycle for hyperscale and AI-driven data center developments across multiple US locations.

You will drive site validation, power feasibility, design development, and construct-ready handoffs while coordinating with development, design, and construction teams to optimize for pace, density, and scalability.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in preconstruction, development, design, or construction leadership within data centers or large-scale industrial projects.
• Proven experience delivering hyperscale or campus-style developments, including multi-phase project execution.
• Deep expertise in power-driven site selection, due diligence, design management, and cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead preconstruction strategy, standards, and scalable delivery models to support hyperscale deployments.
• Establish repeatable processes enabling rapid campus expansion and speed-to-market.
• Align preconstruction priorities with power-first development and customer-driven capacity needs.
• Lead comprehensive due diligence focusing on power availability, utility coordination, and long-term scalability.
• Oversee environmental, zoning, and permitting processes to ensure sites are entitled and executable at scale.
