Job summary

Talisman in New York is seeking a Vice President to lead execution of complex M&A and strategic advisory assignments in the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure sector. This is an execution-focused role, offering exposure to senior clients and a chance to work with a lean team on high-profile transactions.

You will manage Associates and Analysts, drive financial analyses and valuation, review materials, coordinate diligence, and deliver high-impact client presentations on a range of utility,

Qualifications

• Strong M&A transaction execution experience.
• Excellent financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
• Ability to run multiple transaction workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong client communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day execution of complex transactions.
• Leading financial analysis, valuation and transaction modelling.
• Managing Associates and Analysts across live engagements.
• Reviewing transaction materials and providing senior-level technical oversight.
• Coordinating diligence, documentation and workstreams across transaction processes.
• Working directly with senior executives, sponsors, corporates and other transaction counterparties.
• Developing strategic and transaction recommendations alongside senior coverage bankers.
• Preparing and delivering high-impact client presentations.
• Maintaining close communication with senior bankers as transactions progress.
• Training and developing junior members of the team.
• Contributing sector and market expertise across power, utilities and energy infrastructure.
