Job summary

Confidential Company in New York is seeking a Vice President for Portfolio Analytics & Reporting to deliver portfolio performance reporting and analytics for internal investment teams and external investors.

You will collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Investor Relations, Product Specialists, Fund Accounting, Operations, and Valuation to maintain accurate analytics and support due diligence, product launches, and data requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5–10 years of portfolio analytics or investment reporting experience.
• Strong understanding of credit markets and performance analytics.
• Solid accounting and finance foundation.
• Advanced Excel skills and analytical mindset.
• Experience with Python and/or SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc investor reporting and client deliverables.

We're partnering with a leading global alternative asset manager to hire a Vice President for its Portfolio Analytics & Reporting team supporting the firm's Private Credit platform.

This role is responsible for delivering portfolio performance reporting and analytics for both internal investment teams and external investors. You'll work closely with Portfolio Managers, Investor Relations, Product Specialists, Fund Accounting, Operations, and Valuation in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and report portfolio performance at the investment, portfolio, and fund level.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc investor reporting, performance packages, and client deliverables.
• Respond to investor data requests and performance-related inquiries.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of portfolio analytics, reporting processes, and investment databases.
• Track portfolio exposures across sectors, industries, countries, leverage, investment type, and other key metrics.
• Partner with Investor Relations, Portfolio Managers, Operations, Fund Accounting, Valuation, and Compliance on reporting, client requests, and new product launches.
• Support operational due diligence requests from prospective and existing investors.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of portfolio analytics, performance reporting, or investment reporting experience within an alternative asset manager (private credit, private equity, hedge fund, or similar).
• Strong understanding of credit markets and investment performance analytics.

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
