Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years in Financial Services/Private Equity data/client reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Modeling.
• Technical knowledge, data analytics using CRMs (Salesforce), Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to work with all levels of Management.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze portfolio performance data, benchmark performance and risk statistics.
• Provide detailed performance reports including attribution analysis, NOI, IRRs, and benchmark returns.
• Construct portfolio analytics tables and perform fund finance metrics.
• Craft quarterly client talking points on investment performance.
• Review and adjust client quarterly reports to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate data feeds for internal and external databases to ensure data integrity.
• Build financial models to assess portfolio exposure, risk and performance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the reporting platform through stakeholder feedback.

Job description

Our client is a premier PE Fund based in NYC, currently seeking to add a talented Manager to their Portfolio Analytics Team. This individual will be working closely with Portfolio Managers across finance, investment management, operations, technology, investor services, compliance/legal, and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze portfolio performance data, benchmark performance and risk statistics
• Provide detailed performance reports ranging from attribution analysis, NOI, IRRs, and benchmark returns
• Construct portfolio analytics tables, and perform fund finance metrics
• Craft quarterly client talking points on investment performance
• Review and make necessary adjustments to client quarterly reports to ensure reports are sent out in a timely manner
• Work with all levels of team members across the organization to help coordinate data feeds for various internal and external databases, in effort to ensure the integrity and consistency of portfolio data reported across client reporting systems
• Build financial models in effort to perform portfolio exposure, risk and performance
• Identifying opportunities to enhance the strategic reporting platform by gathering and analyzing field feedback and collaborating with partners across the organization
• Maintain client relationship management database and providing reports to Directors on a regular basis
• Provide various ad hoc data research and analysis as needed.
