Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Vice President, Population Health to provide strategic and operational leadership for value-based and performance-driven care initiatives across the continuum. This executive role partners with senior leaders, physicians, and operations to drive population health programs and measurable improvements in outcomes and costs.

Qualifications

• Requires a MD or DO with board certification and at least 5 years of practice.
• Requires 10+ years of relevant experience and 5+ years of executive or 10+ years of management-level experience in managed care.
• Master's degree is required; degree in Business, Public Health or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Must be licensed as a physician in Indiana or able to obtain licensure.
• Experience in management, financial and medical expense management is required.
• Vendor management experience is preferred.
• Experience building external physician relationships for disease/population health programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for value-based and performance-driven care initiatives.
• Advance population health strategies to improve outcomes, patient experience, and total cost of care.
• Partner with executive leadership, medical groups, physicians, and operational teams to develop programs.
• Translate enterprise priorities into clear goals, actionable plans, and sustainable outcomes.
• Leverage analytics, market intelligence and best practices to guide decision making.
