Job summary

State Street is seeking a Platform Solutions Engineer in the Execution, Financing and Clearing division to build data-driven analytics products for financing and collateral markets. This role blends finance and technology to create impactful solutions for the Financing Hub and requires collaborating with clients and internal teams.

You will design analytics, prototype solutions, and ensure governance while engaging with clients and prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• At least 5 years of experience in quantitative, analytical or technology roles within financial services.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL programming.
• Experience developing insights and dashboards in PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik.
• Preferred experience in securities financing (securities lending/borrowing, repo, collateral management).
• Background in analytics and execution platforms.
• Experience leading Agile teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with business leaders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced analytics and optimization frameworks for State Street’s Financing Hub platform.
• Collaborate with internal technology teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure successful product deployment.
• Prototype and iterate on innovative solutions, working with internal stakeholders and clients to deliver tailored products efficiently.
• Engage directly with clients and prospects, conducting product demonstrations and managing proofs of concept.
• Maintain governance and risk management standards throughout development.
• Represent State Street at industry conferences and events to showcase capabilities.
• Foster a collegial and professional team environment through collaboration.
