Job summary

iCapital is seeking a Vice President to join the Platform Infrastructure team to keep production and development environments running securely. The role involves advanced cloud capabilities to enable platform strategy with quality and agility, and requires collaboration across teams.

The Platform Engineer will wear multiple hats in a highly visible position interacting with all aspects of the business. The ideal candidate brings extensive DevOps/SRE experience, strong AWS skills, and expertise

Qualifications

• 6+ years of DevOps or SRE experience with 4+ years of AWS
• 6+ years of CI/CD pipeline development in GitLab or GitHub
• 3+ years of AWS security practices including remediations
• 3+ years with DevSecOps tools (SAST/DAST/SCA)
• Microservices (Docker/Kubernetes) in production
• Strong Linux command-line and scripting
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Postgres, DynamoDB
• Code in Python, Ruby or Java
• Terraform or CloudFormation for cloud provisioning

Responsibilities

• Build highly available solutions across the SDLC for an internet-facing fintech site
• Coordinate Platform Infrastructure with Information Security for remediation
• Contribute to security practices and shift left security culture
• Develop tools for MacOS/Linux environments to boost productivity
• Maintain site reliability with scalable, resilient architectures
• Automate cloud infrastructure delivery workflows
• Design and operate a Kubernetes environment
