We are seeking a Vice President of Physician Compensation. Reporting to the CGO, the VP will oversee daily sales activities, prospecting, and management of our Physician Compensation products. The role involves achieving growth targets in revenue, market penetration, and expansion by acquiring new clients. The VP will provide regular, detailed sales forecasts to the CGO, develop and nurture relationships with prospects, and lead industry partnerships to generate sales opportunities. A background in provider services consulting—such as service line planning, compensation management, data-driven strategic planning, and payment model transformation—is recommended.

Ideal candidates should have a strong background in provider-specific consulting with knowledge of:

  • Compensation Modeling
  • Fair Market Value

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sales process from initial engagement to closing, meeting revenue goals
  • Lead market penetration and strategy efforts
  • Collaborate with CGO and VPs on prospect engagement strategies and materials
  • Deliver customer presentations and demonstrate our complex software solutions effectively
  • Develop expert knowledge of Heisenberg II offerings and their market benefits
  • Work with the technology support team to optimize prospect interactions
  • Plan and execute strategies to serve and grow the customer base
  • Analyze sales data, competition, and market trends to develop penetration strategies
  • Identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events
  • Provide market insights and strategic guidance to the management team

Performance Metrics:

  • Pipeline development
  • Reduction of sales cycle time
  • Number of new clients and providers
  • Overall revenue growth
  • Partnerships and alliances

Qualifications:

  • Healthcare consulting experience
  • Experience working with physicians, physician groups, and medical centers
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with relationship-building skills within health systems and medical groups
  • 5+ years of client-facing and presentation experience
  • Proven success with diverse sales channels (direct, indirect, professional services, software solutions)
  • Strong negotiating, conflict management, and accountability skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational and conflict resolution skills
  • Comfortable engaging with C-level executives (CFOs, CTOs, COOs, CIOs)
  • Experience in developing sales roadmaps and technical solutions
