Job summary

The Jonus Group is actively seeking a dynamic Vice President, Client Development – Personal Lines to lead growth by acquiring new individual and family clients while managing long-term personal lines relationships.

The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of personal insurance products, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets to contribute to the success of a fast-growing agency.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal lines insurance sales and growth.
• Strong relationship-building and advisory skills.
• Licensed for Property & Casualty.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads, build long-term client relationships, and grow the personal client base through networking, referrals, and digital marketing initiatives.
• Assess clients' home, auto, umbrella, and ancillary needs and tailor personal lines coverage.
• Negotiate with underwriters to secure favorable policy terms and pricing.
• Present coverage options, educate clients on options and close aligned with goals.
• Track KPIs and monitor client satisfaction to drive retention and referrals.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships, address inquiries, and conduct periodic reviews.
• Coordinate with service team, carriers, and claims for timely processing.
• Stay informed on trends and carrier offerings to provide expert advisory services.
• Own and develop a personal lines book of business.
