Job summary

Adams Street Partners is seeking a Vice President, Performance Analytics in Chicago to lead sophisticated analyses and reporting for fundraising, investor communications, and strategic initiatives across private markets strategies.

You will translate evolving investor needs into scalable reporting methodologies, collaborate with Investments, Investor Relations, Marketing, and Technology teams, and drive innovation through automation and AI.

Qualifications

• Graduate with analytically oriented degree such as Finance, Accounting, Statistics or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in private markets performance analytics, investment reporting, or related field.
• Strong understanding of private markets performance measurement: IRR, TVPI, DPI, RVPI, MOIC, benchmarks.
• Ability to synthesize complex investment data into investor-focused analyses.
• Experience with BI tools and investment performance systems such as Power BI, Burgiss, MSCI.

Responsibilities

• Lead sophisticated performance analyses supporting RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, consultant requests, fundraising initiatives, and bespoke inquiries.
• Develop custom performance presentations, track records, portfolio analyses, benchmarks, and other deliverables.
• Translate investor needs into meaningful analyses aligned with firm methodologies.
• Provide guidance on performance presentation and reporting across strategies and fund structures.
• Design and implement scalable reporting capabilities to address evolving investor reporting needs.
