Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a senior leader to drive Patient Services strategy, provide clear direction, and oversee operations in finance, HR, and safety. This role partners with executive teams to align with the Medical Center’s goals and improve care value, patient experience, and staff workflow.

The position requires strong nursing/business credentials and a proven track record of delivering results in a leadership capacity within a health system.

Qualifications

• Master of Nursing, MBA or MHA with a BSN
• 10+ years in a related field with 7+ years in a leadership role
• RN license
• Doctorate in related discipline preferred

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and implementation of the Patient Services Strategic Plan.
• Provide vision and leadership for Patient Services; coach staff and manage collaboration.
• Partner with HR to develop and monitor strategies for attracting, hiring, and retaining top performers.
• Manage annual operating and capital expenditures, budgets and productivity targets; drive cost effectiveness.
• Pursue performance improvement and safety; ensure patient and staff safety and quality care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Education

Master of Nursing / MBA / MHA with a BSN

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Doctorate in related discipline (preferred)
