Job summary

Hughes Marino in Columbus seeks a Vice President of Project Management to serve as the client’s owner’s representative on complex commercial and specialty construction initiatives. You will ensure decisions align with goals, budget, and timeline while acting as the client’s advocate.

This role offers high visibility with executives, mentoring responsibility for junior PMs, and collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors to drive projects from programming to closeout.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of construction project management experience, senior owner’s rep/third-party CM or client-side leadership.
• Design-Build experience strongly preferred; candidates with this background will be prioritized.
• Proven ability to manage external vendors and design teams while leading internal staff.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle owner’s rep/third-party CM oversight of concurrent projects from programming through closeout.
• Day-to-day management of complex, mission-critical projects with executive stakeholding.
• Budget, schedule, and milestone development and stewardship independent of GC/design team interests.
• Assemble and lead project teams: architects, engineers, GCs, and specialty contractors.
