Job summary

Grocery Outlet in Emeryville, CA seeks a visionary Vice President, Operator Support to lead the team that enables Independent Operators and Aspiring Operators in Training by guiding Operational Strategy, Initiatives, Field Communications and Learning & Development content.

You will create scalable SOPs, drive program improvements, partner with Operations, Training, Marketing, Merchandising, Finance and Legal, and build strong relationships with Operators and field leadership to elevate store

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent.
10+ years in store operations, strategy, or related support functions in retail/grocery.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
Strong project management, planning, and analytical capabilities.
Experience managing remote teams and team budgets.

Responsibilities

Set long-term vision, priorities, and roadmap for Operator Support.
Identify, prioritize, and execute operational improvement programs.
Develop and refine SOPs for stores in collaboration with field leaders and partners.
Partner with AOT Training to design and improve training programs and tools.
Oversee Operator Initiatives to maximize store potential and profitability.
Lead field communications to ensure timely, actionable updates between teams.
