Job summary

LightForce Orthodontics is seeking an Operations leader to scale a fully digital, 3D-printed manufacturing operation from early scale to a disciplined system capable of supporting over $250M in revenue. You will own strategy, throughput, yield, capacity, and cost, reporting to the President and partnering with the executive team.

The role requires building a lean, high-performing organization, leading automation, NPI/design transfer, and ensuring FDA ISO 13485 compliance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive manufacturing and operations leadership in FDA-regulated environments.
• Experience scaling a manufacturing organization through major growth.
• Deep knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO 13485, process validation, design transfer, and manufacturing controls.
• Hands-on experience with Lean manufacturing, automation, and process engineering; strong CapEx/OpEx budgeting.
• Bachelor's degree required; technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set the multi-year manufacturing strategy and capacity roadmap.
• Own production performance: throughput, yield, cycle time, on-time delivery, cost.
• Build a Lean, high-performing leadership team and frontline structure.
• Lead automation strategy and manufacturing engineering/technical operations.
• Lead NPI and design transfer to ensure manufacturability at scale.
• Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance on budgets and investments.
