Job summary

LightForce is scaling a fully digital, 3D-printed medtech manufacturing operation. We seek an operations leader who can drive strategy, deliver scalable capacity, and build a high-performing team to support growth beyond $250M in revenue.

You’ll own production performance, implement a Lean operating system, and partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure FDA compliance and long-term value creation.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive manufacturing and operations leadership in FDA-regulated medical devices.
• Proven ability to scale manufacturing through major volume and complexity increases.
• Strong knowledge of FDA Quality System requirements, ISO 13485, process validation, design transfer, and manufacturing controls.
• Hands-on experience with Lean manufacturing, automation, and process engineering and financial fluency to manage CapEx/OpEx budgets.
• Bachelor's degree required; technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set the multi-year manufacturing strategy aligning demand with capacity and capital plans.
• Own production performance: throughput, cycle time, yield, on-time delivery, and cost.
• Build frontline leadership and solve problems at root cause.
• Lead Manufacturing Engineering/Technical Operations and automation strategy.
• Lead NPI and design transfer with engineering and quality.
• Build Lean operating system and recruit/develop leadership.
• Partner on Quality, Supply Chain & Financials to ensure FDA compliance and budgets.
