Job summary

EPD Solutions, Inc. in Irvine, CA seeks a Vice President of Transportation to lead the Transportation Planning and Engineering practice. This senior role focuses on strategy, client relations, and pursuing major transportation projects to grow the firm’s market presence.

The candidate will shape practice vision, manage senior teams, and drive profitability while engaging with public and private sector clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PE or TE licensure (Civil/Traffic) required.
• 12+ years in transportation planning/traffic engineering with notable wins.
• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or Urban Planning; advanced degree a plus.
• Credibility with agencies and public clients; strong advocacy in meetings.
• Proven BD and client-relations experience in transportation consulting.
• Experience mentoring teams and developing talent.
• Familiarity with LOS, VMT, signal timing, CEQA/NEPA.
• Experience with Deltek, Smartsheet, and MS Office; knowledge of ArcGIS.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, growth, and performance of the Transportation service line.
• Drive business development and expand relationships with public/private sector clients.
• Lead major pursuits and position EPD to win strategic transportation projects.
• Build and maintain executive-level client and industry relationships.
• Achieve annual revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
• Represent EPD and enhance the firm's reputation through leadership and market engagement.
• Foster a culture of strategic thinking, accountability, and continuous improvement.
