Job summary

STACK Infrastructure APAC is seeking a Vice President of Technical Operations to drive data center operations across the Americas portfolio. You will lead the operations playbooks, governance, and safety programs, working to improve reliability and efficiency.

The role reports to the Senior Vice President of Operations and requires building a high-performing team, advancing maintenance standards, and partnering with executives to align strategy with growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ leadership in data center critical operations.
• Experience leading data center programs with hyperscale operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree desired.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders across complex organizations.
• Experience evaluating and managing CMMS and BMS.
• Strong prioritization and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Technical Operations team as STACK’s center of excellence for operations technologies and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership to evolve the Technical Operations program.
• Champion safety, transparency, and candor across the organization.
• Develop and implement maintenance, quality control, and safety processes to improve productivity.
• Oversee facility maintenance program and equipment/system operation governance.
• Demonstrate expertise in data center electrical and mechanical systems (power, UPS, BMS, HVAC, fire systems).
• Develop and implement new maintenance standards for evolving needs.
• Ensure MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs are created, reviewed, and audited.
