Job summary

STACK Infrastructure seeks a visionary Vice President of Technical Operations to oversee data centers across the Americas, driving a scalable operations program, governance, and safety culture.

You will lead a team, partner with leaders across functions, evolve maintenance standards, and champion operational excellence, including training and incident analysis.

This role requires 10+ years in data center leadership, a Bachelor’s degree, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in data center critical operations.
• Experience leading data center operations programs in large hyperscale environments.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree desirable.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead across dispersed organizations.
• Experience evaluating, selecting, and managing CMMS and BMS systems.
• Strong presentations and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach STACK’s Technical Operations team as the center of excellence for operations technologies, workforce development, maintenance, asset management, and availability programs.
• Collaborate with the Operations leadership team to evolve the Technical Operations program.
• Act as a culture carrier who champions safety, transparency, and candor.
• Drive maintenance standards, quality control, and safety process changes to improve productivity and effectiveness.
• Develop facility maintenance program governance and equipment/system operation with critical operations leadership.
• Demonstrate knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical systems including power distribution, UPS, BMS, HVAC, and fire systems.
• Develop and implement new maintenance standards to support evolving needs.
• Ensure MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs are developed, reviewed, and audited across maintenance processes.
• Lead the quality assessment program to document compliance and improvement opportunities.
