Job summary

Sunrun seeks a Vice President of Strategic Finance & Analytics to lead FP&A, financial planning, and analytics across the company. You will partner with the CFO, CEO, and business units to translate complex dynamics into actionable insights and drive performance.

You will modernize the analytics stack with AI, build a high-performing team, and prepare materials for Board meetings and investor updates, shaping strategic decisions for renewable energy growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; MBA/CFA is a strong plus.
• 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience with investment banking or private equity is a plus.
• Proven track record leading finance teams at large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide FP&A, long-range planning, budgeting, and quarterly forecasts.
• Deliver monthly/quarterly performance reporting to executives and the Board.
• Model financial impact of strategic initiatives and policy changes.
• Build and mentor a high-performing analytics team using AI-driven insights.
