Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Senior Analyst for the Strategic Finance & Analytics (SF&A) team to build scalable processes and support profitable growth in Sales & Marketing. The role partners with Sales leadership to forecast, report, and analyze, with potential transitions to other areas and a pathway to advancement within SF&A or Sunrun.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in FP&A, investment banking, equity research, or consulting with a proven track record of success.
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication required for this highly cross-functional role.
• Preferred experience with Anaplan or other similar financial planning software.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and highly team-oriented.
• Inquisitive, enjoys problem-solving, and focused on driving results.
• Excellent financial modeling and presentation skills.
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sunrun’s volume forecast process, setting deadlines and validating assumptions.
• Coordinate sales financial planning and forecasting with cost reviews and analyses.
• Analyze retail/store profitability, staffing, and compensation plans for sales roles.
• Support design of sales promotions and vendor analyses.
• Develop standardized reporting tools and Anaplan models for operational teams.
• Create AI-enabled tools to improve information sharing and analysis efficiency.
