Job summary

Greenhouse is seeking a Vice President of Security to lead company-wide security strategy and execution across product, corporate and information security.

Reporting to the CTO, this role will guide the Security team, advise the Board on security posture, risk, and investments, and partner with Product, Legal, Privacy, Sales and Customer Success as the data platform and AI-enabled product capabilities scale.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in security.
• 5+ years leading a multidisciplinary security organization.
• Experience as Head of Security or CISO or VP of Security.
• Experience with SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Define and own Greenhouse's security strategy, multi-year roadmap, operating model, budget, and investments.
• Lead security organization spanning product, corporate, information security.
• Build leadership bench with hiring, coaching, succession planning.
• Own security risk posture; oversee compliance programs (SOC 1/2, ISO 27001/27701/42001).
• Lead security response for incidents and disaster recovery exercises.
• Govern AI usage across the company and product; data security governance.
• Advise Sales on security reviews for enterprise deals; engage with Board and auditors.
