Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, an AI-first digital agency serving roofing contractors, seeks a VP of Sales for Roofing to own large multi-location deals across markets. You will manage the full cycle from discovery to close, engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders, and expand services as groups sign on.

There are no direct reports; this is an individual contributor role focused on strategic, high-value accounts with a $2M annual quota.

Qualifications

• Proven track record closing $1M+ annual for large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to roofing groups or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers. Not suited for high-volume, single-location sales.

• Own the full sales cycle on large deals from discovery to close (3–12 months).
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders in negotiations.
• Expand relationships to add locations and services after a group signs.

No direct reports. This is an individual contributor seat going after strategic, multi-location roofing accounts: large groups you open and close yourself.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for roofing contractors operating across several markets. As VP of Sales for Roofing, you own our largest multi-location roofing deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.


• Leads fed to you: meetings with roofing contractors operating across several markets, booked by our sales development team or inbound.


• No management. No team to build, hire or run.


• Strategic accounts: multi-market roofing contractors with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.

What You Will Own

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.


• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.


• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.


• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.

What You Bring

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.


• Selling into roofing groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.


• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers. If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.


• You would rather close business than manage people.
