Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Vice President of Sales for Roofing to own our largest multi-location deals across markets. You will handle the full cycle from discovery to close, dealing with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders.

This role is remote in the USA or Canada, with a $2M annual quota and no direct reports. In this senior, strategic capacity, you will expand locations and services as groups sign, working with our sales development team and inbound leads to close

Qualifications

• A proven track record closing $1M+ annually on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling into roofing groups or multi-location marketing/agency services.
• Ability to navigate long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
• Preference for closing business over people management.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close over 3–12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Drive expansion to more locations and services once a group signs.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to prepare proposals for key deals.

No direct reports. This is an individual contributor seat going after strategic, multi-location roofing accounts: large groups you open and close yourself.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for roofing contractors operating across several markets. As Vice President of Sales for Roofing, you own our largest multi-location roofing deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.


• Leads fed to you: meetings with roofing contractors operating across several markets, booked by our sales development team or inbound.


• No management. No team to build, hire or run.


• Strategic accounts: multi-market roofing contractors with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.

What You Will Own

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.

What You Bring

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.

• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers. If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.


• You would rather close business than manage people.
