Role Overview

As VP of Sales, you will lead senior sales professionals, focusing on driving new business development. Your responsibilities include overseeing, supporting, and guiding your team to identify and pursue new opportunities, expand our customer base, and increase revenue. You will ensure your team excels in prospecting, nurturing leads, and closing deals, with significant autonomy to manage and coach them effectively. Collaboration on strategy, complex negotiations, and removing barriers will be key aspects of your role.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and mentor senior sales professionals to pursue new business opportunities.
  2. Manage sales efforts related to acquiring new clients and oversee team performance.
  3. Remove obstacles to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions.
  5. Expand professional networks and explore untapped markets.
  6. Guide the team in executing new business strategies.
  7. Provide regular feedback to improve team performance and adherence to company guidelines.
  8. Foster a high-performing sales culture focused on client acquisition.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience selling professional IT or software services.
  • Strong experience in selling technology consulting and services as a hunter of new logos.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing sales professionals.
  • Deep understanding of the industry, key players, strategies, and business models.
  • Knowledge of sub-verticals, needs, challenges, and trends in technology consulting.
  • Strategic, creative, and analytical sales approach.
  • Focus on initiating and building client relationships.
  • Experience with direct competitors is a plus.
