Job Description

The VP will build, manage, and lead a direct sales division at Clearent by Xplor, including Regional Sales Directors, District Managers, and Account Executives. The role involves achieving and exceeding sales goals and recruiting to expand the territory, especially given the company's high growth mode.

The following duties are typical for this position but not exhaustive. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Demonstrate integrity and ethics in representing the brand.
  2. Drive the team to surpass sales targets using Clearent’s systemic activity management and accountability approach.
  3. Optimize team performance and recruit high-performing members.
  4. Provide clear, insightful reports to management, forecast sales, and offer proactive recommendations.
  5. Manage key partner relationships, including associations and VARs.
  6. Ensure professionalism in team communications, training attendance, and social media use.
  7. Market new Clearent products and services as introduced.
  8. Learn and communicate all hardware, software, and reporting tools offered by Clearent.
  9. Demonstrate expertise in Clearent’s programs and reinforce the sales system to direct reports.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must perform essential duties satisfactorily. Requirements include:

  • 3+ years managing a sales team in the payment industry.
  • Experience in building successful teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Strong work ethic and drive for success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional competencies include financial acumen, business insight, inspiring leadership, empathy, accountability, integrity, and change management.

Physical requirements include prolonged sitting, communication, manual dexterity, and visual acuity. Reasonable accommodations are available.
