Advertising.com in Chicago is seeking a hands-on VP of Sales to personally originate and close new brand and agency business while coaching the sales team. This full-time, in-office role leads outbound prospecting and drives digital advertising solutions across industries.

You will build your own pipeline, manage opportunities end-to-end, and partner with campaigns, account management, and operations to align proposals with client objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of digital advertising sales.
• 2+ years directly leading and coaching salespeople.
• Proven track record of sourcing and closing new business.
• Experience selling to brands and agencies.
• Knowledge of display, social, mobile, search, and programmatic advertising.
• Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
• Effective CRM use and reliable pipeline forecasting.
• Willingness to work onsite in Chicago.

• Initiate outbound prospecting to build a personal pipeline.
• Own opportunities from outreach to closing; drive new business.
• Develop opportunities across display, social, mobile, search, and CTV.
