Job summary

Northern Virginia Family Services (NVFS) is seeking a Vice President of Programs to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Workforce Development, Housing, and Homeless Services. This role drives integrated, outcomes-driven programs that enhance economic mobility and housing stability for families in Northern Virginia.

The VP will expand funding models, lead program excellence, and cultivate partnerships with foundations, government, and employers to ensure sustainable impact.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required with 10+ years of progressive leadership in human services.
• Experience managing multi-program portfolios and grants, including compliance and reporting.
• Strong financial acumen with budget oversight and forecasting abilities.
• Proven ability to diversify funding streams and develop sustainable revenue models.
