Job summary

Fortegra seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead the financial integration of new MGA and MGU programs across P&C and Consumer lines. This executive owns billing setup, premium accounting, receivables, and reconciliation, driving technology-enabled transformations to scale the programs business.

The role unites Operations, Finance, Technology, Compliance, Underwriting, and Legal to launch programs compliantly and at scale, ensuring accurate posting to the Oracle ledger and robust aged

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years in insurance operations, finance/accounting leadership, or program management with 5+ years at a carrier/MGA/MGU in a senior role.
• Expertise in insurance premium billing, receivables management, and financial reconciliation within delegated authority programs.
• Proven track record leading finance/ accounting transformation, including ERP implementations and billing modernization.
• 5+ years managing teams of project managers, finance professionals, or operations specialists.

Responsibilities

• Lead Fortegra's finance and accounting transformation agenda within programs, focusing on automation and modern ERP/billing platforms.
• Own the multi-year technology roadmap for program accounting and billing operations with IT and Finance.
• Drive AS IS/TO BE redesign across finance touchpoints in MGA/MGU lifecycle from onboarding to close.
• Evaluate and implement FinTech/InsurTech solutions to enhance accounting, billing and program admin.
• Build real-time management reporting for revenue, receivables exposure, and financial risk.
