Westfield Outdoors in Indianapolis seeks a transformative Vice President of Product Development to lead the Product Management organization, drive strategy, and shape a scalable portfolio. You will mentor a growing team, partner with design and engineering, and align product initiatives with commercial goals across global sourcing and channels.

This executive role emphasizes strategic thinking, financial discipline, and strong communication to deliver durable-goods success worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive product management, development, or commercialization experience with durable goods.
• Significant experience leading Product Managers and multi-category portfolios.
• Experience with global sourcing, overseas manufacturing, and major retail/ecommerce channels preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise product strategy and portfolio priorities across durable-goods businesses.
• Translate priorities into clear product roadmaps, investment plans, and lifecycle decisions.
• Establish standards for business cases, pricing, margin, and lifecycle decisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers and align Design/Engineering teams.
• Define portfolio KPIs and partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
• Present portfolio updates and investment recommendations to executive leadership.
