Job summary

Disney Theatrical Group is seeking a VP of Producing & Development to lead creative direction, build high-performing teams, and drive ambitious theatrical projects from early development through opening.

The role requires extensive experience in musical theater producing, executive partnership, and global travel, with accountability for budgets, schedules, and creative quality across divisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years proven experience in a wide variety of creative idioms/mediums, especially musical theater, with a strong producing background.
• Proven experience leading creative teams and navigating complex production challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Comfort with managing multiple projects simultaneously and driving results.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive level creativity, directing teams and solving production problems.
• Manage a portfolio of titles in various development stages from formation to first production.
• Partner to reimagine legacy titles and ensure creative excellence and profitability.
• Build consensus, communicate effectively, and maintain internal communications cadence.
• Oversee budgeting and collaborate with other divisions and TWDC areas.
